Seeds of Happiness
Mark Borella is a happy guy.
And he spreads his seeds of happiness everywhere he goes... literally.
I met Mark Borella at the International Gift Show in Atlanta Georiga. Not only did Mark and I "click" immediately, no doubt due to the fact that we are both a tad wacky and just shy of crazy, but I fell head over heels in love with the product he created through his artistic gift.
As Mark says " These Little Seeds of happiness started out as leftover lumps of clay I made into little smiles to give out to friends who were going through hard times and need a little smile. That was in 2006. Since then I've given out thousands of smiles to folks, a handful at a time. In turn, they share them and the story with their friends in need of a smile. Those people then share with more friends and keep the story going."
Well these little smiles are all over the planet by now. I always carry a handful in my pocket and share them whenever and wherever I can. I take photos of them too. They love to have their pics taken and posted on facebooks and I've given each one of mine a name... so they become a little friend I share with someone who needs one.
If by chance you happen to run into me at an airport, art show or grocery store, and could use a little smile... just ask... and I'll pass one along. If you too would like to have a stash of your very own seeds of happiness to share or any of the other fun items Mark has, check out his website at seedsofhappiness.com
